Happy 3rd Birthday Hadley May!

Well, she is FINALLY 3, but going on 14.
This little girl is a force to be reckoned with.
She makes me crazy, but I don't know what I would do without her.
She wanted to have a "ROCKSTAR" party today and if you know
Hadley at all, you know this fits her perfectly. We had each "rockstar"
pick their favorite song to sing or play air-guitar to and it turned
out to be so much fun. The kids were so funny, I LOVED IT!

Silver Lake

Cory invited his "polygamist" family to join his real family at Silver Lake the Friday before we went back on-track. Lots of snow and cold noses. Thanks for the fun!

FINALLY!!!!

Guess who has FINALLY learned to ride a 2 wheeler? ABBY!

















It has been a battle getting her to even want to learn, she really didn't care about her bike. It made me crazy, I LOVED my bike growing up and I think learning to ride is something everyone should learn how to do (I feel the same about swimming, seriously, its like a life skill). So, I told her while she was off-track we would not be doing anything fun until she learned to ride her bike. I know I get it I am mean, but it was a necessary evil to get her to even try. After many threats and trips up and down our street she is now a 2 wheeler ridin' kid, it only took her until she was 6!

The Wierdest Fish EVER?

Does anyone else have a fish that does tricks?
Abby's pet fish Goldie "Plays Dead".
The first time I saw it I thought it was dead and panicked because I didn't want Abby to see it dead. (She tends to dwell on the subject of death) So, I walk over and the little bugger flips over and starts swimming all over. I kept asking Justun about it and he thought it just might be in its last days, this was MONTHS ago. Well, Justun has finally seen it and now believes me and I caught it on camera. I have come to the decision we either A) have the wierdest fish ever or B) have the smartest fish ever, who's heard of a fish doing tricks? See for yourself.

Really busy...

So... things have been "REALLY" busy at Kohl's (I hope you can sense my sarcasm) Truth be told I just don't really care about my blog right now, I think too many people use it to toot their own horns and say "look at me I'm perfect". Anyhow, I have been getting a lot of crap about not updating, so while looking at other blogs (stalking, if you will) I came across the most amazing girl/blog "NieNie". I am humbled by this girl and her strength and beauty. I found myself completely engrossed in her story of survival and in awe of her and who she is. I WANT TO BE HER FRIEND. I realize my life is easy compared to hers and have decided its time for me to turn a new leaf and be a better person. So for now, here is to her and my "new leaf"....

Where are you?!

Yes, I know I have not blogged in MONTHS.
Well, truth be told, we haven't been too exciting.
I haven't downloaded any pictures from, well
like before Christmas. (bc, my computer sucks)
And we're going through some changes around
here. I have been in work limbo since December,
not knowing whether or not my job was going to
die or scrape by with its teeth. I'm still not sure...
so I went and found myself another job.
I am a NEW employee (well, as of Feb. 26th) of :




I feel lucky to have found someone who was hiring
and somewhere so close and a flexible schedule.
It has been a tough transition for me to leave at
nights and on the weekends, but we'll get through it.
I'm mostly thankful that Justun is a great crutch for
me. He has/is/will make this whole thing alot easier.
And, thank goodness he has a GOOD job, someone
around here needs to make some money. (You know
it's not me :0 )
