Seven Peaks Waterpark

Every year we try to go to Seven Peaks on or around Abby's birthday and so this year we went on her actual birthday. It wasn't too crowded when we got there, but it ended up that way. Abby and Haddie had so much fun in the Kiddie pools, they really liked the slides. I think we spent half the day on those slides, Haddie just kept saying "Again, again" so we had to keep taking turns going down with her.

Abby would get out, go down, get out, go down, like if she didn't hurry the slide was going to disappear, it was hilarious. They both would make it a point to give the lifeguards "High Fives" before they would go down or they would just wait. They are both so silly.

But the highlight of the day was when they finally got to play on the tire swing in the water, they waited all day for that and right before we left they had their chance.

They were SO Happy!

Abby's Birthday Party

This is my favorite picture from the Party, look at all of those cute and crazy kids!

Abby had a fun filled birthday party at the newest Splash Park by our house. She invited both family and friends, we had lots of fun. She was spoiled as usual by her grandparents, but I'm told that's their job! Thanks to everyone who came. Check out the rest of pics below.

Swimming Lessons

Abby just finished up swim lessons and she has turned into quite the little fish! She LOVES to swim. She even jumped off the diving board without a life jacket and she said, "I'm so brave huh, Mom?" Yep, kiddo you are. I NEVER thought she would do it.

We did a couple of sessions back to back, so she learned alot. She learned about 5 different floats, 4 different strokes, the coordinating kicks and how to tread water in the deep end.

Check out my little poser! She makes me smile.

Happy 5th Birthday Abby! 7/22/08

"I can't believe I'm gonna be 5!"

Here are 5 things you should know about Abby:

1. She LOVES pink.
2. She can read.
3. She has a dimple.
4. She LOVES to jump.
5. She is 43" tall and 43 lbs.  A PERFECT square!

We love you Ab-ster!

Boating at Scofield: July 12/13, 2008

I know, I know this post is like 2 weeks late, but let me explain. I have too many other things to do than blog right now and you will see why in forthcoming blogs.

Alright, let's get to it. Well, you know its going to be a good day when you wake up to see this out your front window.

So after bidding Justun, Cory, Abby and the boys goodbye for some fishin' time on Friday; Jeri, Haddie and I drove to the lake Saturday morning and started the day out with some wakeboarding. We had two boards out on demo to try and we wanted to give the new boards a whirl. Jeri, Cory and Justun all did GREAT, I on the other hand was pathetic. There will be no pictures of this, I admit to the disappointment, but I WILL NOT document it.

Jeri's "Best Jump"

Cory's "Best Jump"

Justun's "Best Jump"

We finished the day off with some tubing and swimming, I think Cory was actually trying to kill Jeri and I while we were on the tube.

Then, we went back to the Tatton cabin, had dinner, showered up and went to bed. Well that's what everyone else did anyways. Haddie didn't want to sleep. So in turn neither did I. The next day after cleaning the cabin, we headed back to the lake with hopes that we didn't miss the good skiing water. The water gods must have loved us that day because Jeri had REALLY good water and I had GLASS. I can't remember the last time I skied on glass, it was awesome.

Ahhhh, glass....

The day was filled with more wakeboard jumps by everyone but me, yes I again was way under par. First tries on the wakeboard for Parker and Brock (Way to go my Proulx Poo Boys!) some more swimming (not Abby, she's was PETRIFIED to be in the middle of the lake swimming) and some serious driving by all the kids, well, except Haddie, she just chills in her designated seat.

"Are we having fun?"

All in all in was a good time. I am sure glad we decided to be "boat partners" with Jeri and Cory,  it sure has made for a fun start to summer. Thanks guys!

Our Debut....Da Da Na Na!

Well, after much pushing and obvious hinting from my friend Jeri, I have decided to finally join the blogging ranks. I must admit I do still think this is NERDY, but who says I was COOL to begin with?
A few things to note before we get started:
1. Don't expect me to be funny, that is TOO much pressure.
2. I can't promise I won't brag, so please don't get offended.
3. I also can't promise that we are interesting and always have
    something cool going on.
4. Please laugh with us, not directly at us. OK, laugh at us if
    you must!
5. And finally, who knows when I will update this, (and you all know
Justun won't have anything to do with it) so don't expect too much!!
6. JERI, I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY! This is all your doing, I am sure
I will thank you later. You know I love ya!
